Boom Boom Pow!!

We had a great 4th of July, but who wouldn't on a long weekend!! We started off the weekend at The Four Seasons on Friday. It's great if you have small children because they have their own fireworks show on the 3rd and bounce houses, rock climbing, sand castle building (in the roughs on the golf course), etc. all weekend. I don't know if it's more a treat for the kids or mom & dad!!! On Saturday afternoon we came home and cooked out with Gigi and Granddad. Granddad picked up a few firecrackers so he and Jackson played with those in the back yard. Jackson says he LOVES fireworks, but last night he made us watch them from the room with the glass door closed instead of outside on the lawn with everyone else!!!! Maybe next year. Sophie on the other hand seemed to like them and didn't mind the noise....go figure!! The only thing to forget about the weekend was having Jackson share a bed with me and Ali. Can't remember when that last happened, and let's just say it wasn't the best night of sleep I've had in a while. Who knew such a little boy needed so much room in a King bed.
