Happy 2nd Birthday Sophie!
Happy Birthday sweet girl. We love you so much and are so thankful for you!
At two years old:
You are still a little bit....probably weigh around 23/24 pounds!
Have such long hair, that is curly, or at least has a lot of bounce. I hope it stays that way.
Have such personality. You are assertive to say the least.
Love playing babydolls still, but recently are all about painting and coloring.
Go to MDO on Tues/Thurs. Everyday you say you play babydolls there. You also say "share babydolls with Ruby Catherine" so you must have to be reminded:)
Are a little jealous of mommy spending time with Sarah Kate. When she cries you will run over to me sometime and want me to hold you, not her.
Love patting Sarah Kate. I have caught you in her crib several times and you are patting her back and sometimes saying "it's okay baby", even though she wasn't upset.
Tell me "I love you too much"
Sometimes say "Thank you so much" which is so cute
Talk like a grown up.
Thank you are funny. You like to try and make us laugh by changing the words to "A B C D lunch/dinner" instead of the rest of the alphabet.
Always scream something like "Sophie's shoes" with the last word broken into two syllables and extra loud on the last syllable.
Are girly. You love to try on shoes....it's nearly impossible to pull you out of Stride Rite because you want to try on every.single.shoe.
Started going to a dance class, and you love it. You talk about Miss. Callie all the time and we caught you playing dance class in your room with your new American Girl doll. You got a new AG doll, not the bitty baby, for your birthday and it's funny you make her walk and do dance class. You don't do that with your other babydolls because they are true babies. You just like a little girl time with the new AG doll I guess.
Like to watch Dora and Elmo, but you never watch Elmo, you just ask for it. Joys of sharing tv time with a big brother.
Can't sleep in bed with your me and your dad because you just want to talk and play.
Don't like it when your Dad doesn't have a shirt on, you don't like chest hair so you pull away from him and say "Change clothes daddy"
will NOT ever, ever, ever eat a vegetable
Talk like a grown up....will sometimes end sentences with huh? Bubba go to school, huh?
Play independently all the time. You read books and recently started putting your monkey puppet on and reading no more monkeys jumping on the bed.
Wake up and either SCREAM for your daddy "DADDY, DADDY" until he comes and gets you, or we hear you saying...."Bubba, I tell you something" Over and over until we get you. Somehow, someway, your bubba seems to sleep through this.
Your daddy and I couldn't love you any more and are so proud to be your parents! We love you Sophie girl!
